The UNESCO Qualifications Passport (QP) allows them to have their skills and qualifications recognized, even without original documents. By promoting inclusion in sectors often facing skills shortages, the passport also contributes to the sustainable development of host countries.

Uganda hosts more than 1.7 million refugees, one of the largest refugee populations in the world. Many of them arrive with significant training and experience, but without supporting documentation. This lack of recognition creates barriers to inclusion and prevents them from fully contributing to the life of their community.
