“At home, I taught my parents to save water and sort our waste, just like we learned at school,” she explains, perfectly illustrating how environmental education shapes habits beyond the classroom. Thanks to initiatives like Eco-Schools, children across Morocco are becoming eco-citizens and driving lasting change within their families and communities.
Students are also raising awareness among their peers through the Young Reporters for the Environment (JRE) program, which uses media to highlight local environmental challenges.
